Creator Terms
The full wording behind the LocalShot Creator Code. LocalShot is designed to protect both businesses and creators.
The Creator Code, in short
- · Respect the business, its staff and its customers.
- · Follow the agreed content brief.
- · Only enter private or restricted areas with permission.
- · Only handle products or equipment when authorised.
- · Treat products and property carefully.
- · Never remove anything from the premises.
- · Respect customer and employee privacy.
- · Follow the location instructions given by the business.
- · Report accidental damage or incidents immediately.
- · Behave professionally during every LocalShot mission.
1. Your LocalShot account
You create content as an independent creator. Before accepting your first paid mission you complete identity verification and accept the Creator Code. Your identity documents are used for verification only, are never shown to businesses and are never used as a profile photo.
2. On location
You film only where the business allows. Location instructions provided with the mission are part of the brief. You do not enter private or restricted areas, handle products or equipment, or remove anything from the premises without explicit permission from a staff member.
3. Privacy of customers and staff
You do not film identifiable customers or employees without their agreement. If someone asks not to appear in the content, you remove those clips before delivery.
4. Visit record
You check in when you arrive and finish the visit when you leave. These timestamps create a simple, factual record of when you were at the business. They protect you as much as the business.
5. Incidents
Report accidental damage or any incident through LocalShot immediately. A report is not a judgement: LocalShot reviews what happened and hears both sides before taking any action. You will never be penalised on the basis of an accusation alone.
6. Content and delivery
You deliver the content described in the brief. Content is used by the business for its own marketing. Do not publish mission content yourself unless the business agrees.
7. Payment
LocalShot is free for creators. You are paid per completed mission after delivery. LocalShot never charges a subscription or joining fee to creators.
